Born and raised in Inglewood CA, Allison has worked in education for just over 11 years. She jump started her career as an academic advisor and program manager for the University of California, Riverside Extension- International Programs. She then moved on the pursue a masters and career in school counseling where she discovered her true passion in educating, supporting, and developing underrepresented youth from communities just like her own. Taking invaluable experience from her counseling role in the Watts community and her role as Partnership Management for one of the largest educational servicing companies, Allison looks to provide strategic developmental counseling programs and content for youth and young adults that will promote learning and growth.
Jacqueline Levi
Program Assistant
Born in Hollywood, CA and raised between San Gabriel Valley and the Inland Empire. Jacqueline spent 8 years working as a Special Education teacher in various California School Districts. School and learning became an escape for Jacqueline’s diverse and complex upbringing as a child. Her passion for education was ignited in college when she was tutoring elementary school aged students where she fell in love with teaching. Her passion for education combined with her love of learning made teaching the natural option. Jacqueline received her BA in Human Development from Azusa Pacific University. She also received her credential in Moderate to Severe Teaching from Touro University where she spent her time focused on social injustice in education. This experience ignited a new passion within Jacqueline. After 8 years in the classroom, Jacqueline has transitioned out of the classroom and is focusing on training teachers, has dreams to open a group home for teen moms, and pursuing her own entrepreneurial endeavors. She also is planning to return to school to obtain her Master’s in counseling.
Whitley Porter, M.A.
Board Member
Whitley Porter is a daughter, friend, ordained minister, life coach, and entrepreneur. Whitley is an activist for inspiration. She has been featured as a speaker at conferences, podcasts, and events within the area. Whitley currently resides in the Inland Empire where she is often found inspiring women and people at large to DREAM OUT LOUD! She has recently launched her production company (Whitley Porter Productions) and looks forward to creating content that will charge her sphere of influence to empower minorities at large.
