Training & Consultation
Families and Schools Empowered is excited to offer California districts and schools quality training and consultative services.
All training is led by seasoned educational professionals with over 15 years of collective experience and notable accomplishments. All training can be offered in virtual or physical form. Each training will include time for Q & A and one Q&A follow-up facilitated by a school administrator.
We do offer long term consultation services in addition to each training and subject as an add-on.
All training have an associated fee in order to compensate our expert facilitators.

Prevention and Intervention
Effective Classroom Management: Developing a successful learning space for all students. (Great for 1st and 2nd Year Teachers)
Learn to build genuine and organic relationships for students.
Learn to use classroom “preparedness” to facilitate clear instruction and achieve daily learning goals.
Learn to set classroom expectations with student buy-in.
Learn to manage student distractions and defiance.
Teachers will:
Evaluating Your Systems of Student Support: A Process to Maximize Overall Student Success (Follow-Up Consultative Services are Highly Encouraged)
Analyze student data and student support systems to align classroom systems.
Work with facilitator to revise and roll out new cohesive student support systems.

Learn and review best practices for special education programs.
Learn effective dispute resolution and avoiding claims.
Learn the importance of family engagement and how it benefits students.

Evaluating Your Special Education Program (Part 2): Teacher and Para-Professional Level Supports
Review effective data collection and using data to drive instruction.
Review best practices for classroom management.
Learn to collaboratively work with the student educational teams including para-professionals.
